David J. Shepherd was elected to serve the residents of Newcomerstown in 2017 and currently chairs the Building and Grounds Committee. He is a lifelong resident and 1993 graduate of Newcomerstown High School. David attended Central Ohio Technical Collage where he earned a degree in Architectural drafting and design and has been employed at B.A. Widder Architectural Services of New Philadelphia for nearly 25 years.
He and his family attend Uhrichsville Christian Fellowship where he and his wife serve as Sunday School teachers. Councilman David participates many school activities with his children and is involved in community organizations including Cy Young Days Festival Committee. David also is Chair on our Buildings and Grounds Community Development Committee.
David and his wife Sara reside in the Village of Newcomerstown with their three children Kaden, Rhylee and Graham.
David is an excellent addition to our Council.
