Welcome to the Cy Young Park Page!

Cy Young Park and Pool has been the long standing recreation entertainment hub for Newcomerstown for quite some time. If you're an avid baseball fan, or a recreation lover, we have you covered! The park features a monument dedicated to Cy Young right beside the baseball field.

Some of the park amenities include: pool, concession stand, a splash pad(coming 2025), baby pool, playground equipment, tennis courts, volleyball pit, baseball fields, shelters with electric, picnic tables, wooded hiking trails, paved walking paths.


Want to have a pool party?
All pool parties start at 5pm and are private. There are 3 lengths: 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours. In order to guarantee your booking on the date you request, you must pay the same day as you are booking the pool. Please book ahead of time (at least 1 week). This helps us ensure lifeguards are available for your party. Concessions will not be open for pool parties. You may bring food into the pool area, but please leave grills outside the gates. If your guest list is more than 50 people, we will ask for an additional $25 fee added to your total. This to cover for another lifeguard to be on duty to protect everyone in the pool. When you fill out a reservation form you are agreeing to all of these rules and are also agreeing that you are responsible for all caters, vendors, and service providers at your event. Want to reserve a shelter?
You may have the shelter from park opening to close (9am to 10pm). Bathrooms will not be available until the park opens (May) due to various reasons, including cold weather. Please be mindful of this when scheduling. The use of amplifying equipment will be monitored to ensure noise levels are comfortable for all other park users No alcohol/drugs are permitted in the park You are responsible for cleaning the shelter at the end of your event. This includes wiping off the tables, removing all decorations, and picking up/throwing away all trash. Trash hoppers are provided. The rental fee must be paid immediately to guarantee your reservation. Same day payments and payments the day before your event are not permitted.
